How do I book a cruise for a large group? 

If you wish to book a cruise for a group, please contact us by calling 91 290 18 45 or send an email to booking@mundomarcruceros.com to obtain assistance. In group bookings, we can offer guests certain amenities, such as: onboard credits, a bottle of wine, etc.


Can I change my reservation?

Changes to reservations after the deposit and before the issuance of travel documents may incur administrative fees and service charges. Administrative fees and service charges vary depending on the type of change at the time of the cruise, the itinerary, the land or hotel package, or additional airfare charges. Guests will be responsible for any additional expenses resulting from these modifications. Some changes, including name changes, may also be interpreted as a cancellation, and applicable fees will be charged. The guest will be responsible for any changes to the reservation that result in airline fees or other cancellation fees. No refunds will be issued for non-use or partial use of land, air, and cruise programs, including shore excursions, unless the contract specifies otherwise.


What is a waiting list?

It means you are on a waiting list because there is no space available in the desired category. A waiting list does not guarantee space on the cruise until availability is confirmed.

My invoice says I have a guaranteed cabin. What does this mean and why do I not have a cabin number? 

A guaranteed cabin means that you have not yet been assigned a cabin number, but you are guaranteed to sail on this cruise. Cabin assignments can take place at any time up to the day of the cruise.

My cruise requires visas. Can I stay on board while we are in port and not acquire the visas? 

If the cruise requires visas, you must obtain them independently. You may be denied boarding if you do not obtain the visas required by the cruise.

Why does my passport have to be valid for 6 months from the disembarkation date? 

We require all guests to have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the disembarkation date in order to complete all our itineraries. This is a precaution in case an unforeseen circumstance occurs, such as a medical emergency, that would require you to remain in port longer than planned.

Can I travel with children under 18? 

Children must be at least 6 months old on the day of boarding or at least 12 months old on the day of boarding if the cruise includes 2 or more consecutive days at sea. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by an adult over 21 and occupy the same cabin as them. For family groups booking multiple cabins, the minimum age of a person in each cabin is 16 years, as long as they are traveling with one of their parents or a legal guardian.

What is the additional charge for single occupancy? 

A single occupancy charge of 200% of the double occupancy cabin or suite rate will apply. Call 91 290 18 45 or send an email to booking@mundomarcruceros.com  to know the current promotions.


Can I sail with Cunard if I am pregnant? 

Cunard cannot accept passengers who have entered the 24th week of pregnancy at the start of the cruise or at any other time during it.

Are pets allowed on board?

Only on the Queen Mary 2 on transatlantic crossings. There is also a dog nursery and a separate area for walking.

Can I bring a wheelchair/scooter on board? 

Yes, as long as the wheelchair or scooter is foldable and its width does not exceed 22 inches.

Can I board, disembark, or return to the ship at a different port of call? 

Due to constant changes in laws and regulations, and in order to provide you with the most up-to-date information, we can submit an Alternative Port Request on your behalf to board, disembark, or return to the ship at a different port approximately 6 months before the requested boarding/disembarking date, provided the following criteria are met:

  • Payment for the reservation has been made (either deposit or final payment). 

  • The Guest Registration Form must be completed in the reservation, including nationality and passport information. 

  • The response to the request may take up to 7 business days.

Is smoking allowed on board?

Yes, but only in designated areas. Smoking is prohibited in cabins or balconies. If you wish to smoke a cigar or pipe, you can do so in Churchill's Cigar Lounge. The areas where smoking is permitted on each ship are:

  • Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria: open spaces on deck 3 and 10 and in Churchill's Lounge

  • Queen Mary 2: open spaces on deck 7

You will find the areas where smoking is allowed clearly marked throughout the ship.

What is the dress code? 

The recommended dress code on board is country club casual. For dinner, it is suggested to wear smart attire, especially if it is a formal night. Please do not enter the restaurants after 6:00 PM in jeans, shorts, t-shirts, baseball caps, or sports shoes.

What types of plugs do the cabins have?

The cabins are equipped with American plugs of 110 volts and 220 volts. It is recommended to bring an adapter and power strip to plug in more than one device at a time.

Is there laundry service on board?

Yes, there is laundry service on all Cunard ships. They have washing machines, dryers, detergent, and an iron.

Do I have internet access?

There is no free internet access; however, there are internet packages available for purchase on board. Nevertheless, it should be noted that if you are in international waters, the connection may be slow.

Is there a veterinarian on board?

Our ships do not offer veterinary service and the ship's doctors cannot assist if your assistance dog becomes ill on board. Therefore, it is imperative that you consult your veterinarian before your cruise for advice to ensure your dog is fit to travel. It may be a good idea to talk to your veterinarian about motion sickness.

Can I bring food and drink on board?

While we do not encourage bringing food and drinks on board, we recognize that some guests with dietary requirements may need to enjoy their trip and feel more comfortable on board.


We advise you to take such items on board with you instead of placing them in your checked luggage to avoid any damage during the loading process. Although there are refrigerators in the cabins, these are not temperature monitored and we cannot guarantee that they will keep food at the correct temperature for safety reasons. All items must be strictly for personal consumption, kept wrapped or sealed and must not pose any health risk or likelihood of pest infestation in the cabins or in any other area. Personal items cannot be cooked for you on board, stored in the main storage areas, or in any refrigerator or freezer in the food room.
