What documentation do I need to embark?

Passport or ID, visas if they make a stopover in countries that require it, and complete the “web check-in” to obtain the electronic ticket or boarding pass.

How many suitcases can I carry and what are the baggage restrictions?

The usual allowance is up to two checked suitcases per person (maximum 23 kg each) and two pieces of hand luggage; in total, maximum 100 kg or 8 packages per cabin

What services are on board? Wi-Fi, spa, pool, meals...

Yes: there is Wi-Fi (although it can be contracted separately), spa/thermal areas (by appointment, and certain restrictions if there is pregnancy), pool, solarium, catering, activities, etc.

What additional costs should I take into account apart from the cruise price?

For example, service charges (tips on the ship's bill), extra drinks, special services, excursions, possible charges for unreturned towels, etc

What happens if I lose something on board?

You must go to reception or Customer Service: many times lost objects are delivered there.

What happens if I have medical needs, physical limitations or am pregnant?

 There is a medical center on board, but people with important ailments must inform during the reservation; additionally, if you are pregnant of 24 weeks or more at the end of the cruise, they may not allow you to travel.

Can children or babies go on MSC cruises? What rules apply?

Yes. There is special regulation for minors (minimum age for babies on certain long cruises, policies for teenagers, availability of wheelchairs, etc.)

What languages are spoken on board?

 The ship usually operates with several languages: Spanish, English, Italian, German, French and Portuguese, depending on the origin of the passengers

How are the cabins? Can the temperature be regulated?

Yes: the cabins have a thermostat, with regulated temperature; there is a map of the ship, and you can consult the services at reception.

Can pets or animals be brought on board?

Domestic animals are not admitted, except for assistance dogs duly registered and approved by the shipping company
