The well-being of passengers is always the main priority at Cunard and that extends to our four-legged Cunarders. Each pet sailing on the Queen Mary 2 receives its own life jacket upon boarding and if necessary, you will be able to pick up your pet from Kennels and take them with you to the assigned meeting point.

The dog/cat daycare is available on the Transatlantic Crossings sailing to or from Southampton, New York, or Hamburg on the Queen Mary 2. Only cats and dogs are allowed, and reservations can only be made with an eligible passenger who has booked. To inquire about availability or to reserve a space once you have booked your trip, please email kennels@cunard.com.

To ensure that your pet's dietary requirements are met, we will contact you before departure with a selection of pet food brands that we can offer on board. If none of these meet your pet's preference, you may bring their own food. Pets can be fed by their owners or by the Kennels attendant. Fresh cooked chicken, vegetables, and broth can also be requested on board, upon request.

We have welcomed animals on board our ships for almost two centuries, and we continue to do so on our Transatlantic Crossings aboard the Queen Mary 2. Its air-conditioned kennels can accommodate up to 24 four-legged guests per trip. In addition, they offer your pet a wealth of complimentary luxuries to ensure they enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay at sea.

As a Cunard Kennels passenger, your cat or dog will be treated to a complimentary portrait session with our ship's photographer. The Dog Walker will be dressed in our iconic bellboy uniform for the photo session and we will provide many accessories for your pet to wear and play with, including a life jacket from the Queen Mary 2, a Cunard jacket, and a miniature bellboy hat.
